George Ahrend is a trial and appellate attorney focusing on commercial, personal injury and insurance matters. He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Washington and Idaho, the US Courts of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Federal Circuit, and the US Supreme Court. He has been involved in many precedent-setting published decisions and is a frequent author and speaker at continuing education events for lawyers. He currently serves as President of the national Catholic Bar Association (CBA) and Co-Chair of the CBA’s Advocacy Committee. He has served as the Co-Coordinator of the Amicus Curiae Program of the Washington State Association for Justice Foundation, and as a consultant for the Washington State Office of Public Defense. Mr. Ahrend graduated magna cum laude from the Gonzaga University School of Law where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Gonzaga Law Review.
